In the universe of Legends of Pegasus, the player is never alone. Alongside the three big races Humans, X’or and Arthrox, small guilds roam the systems of the sector. Each guild has it’s own charactaristics and goals. In the campaign as well as in the sandbox mode, the player can get into contact with these guilds and have profitable diplomatic relationships with the. Relationships are also important if the player wants to settle on a planet that already has a native population aligned to one of these guilds. Here are some infos about the guilds in Legends of Pegasus:
The Mek’meran are a group of hardened mercenary tribes. They specialize in the art of war; diplomacy is not their cup of tea. Their leaders react aggressive and oftentimes hostile.
The player may gain extra mercenary ships in combat if his relationship towards the Mek’meran is very good.
The Llell are skilled traders and merchants. Their trade routes span the known universe, raking in steady profit for the Llell. The art of war eludes them and they are very grateful to anyone who offers to protect their freighters.
The player may profit from trading bonuses if his relationship towards the Llell is very good.
The Krogul roam the universe in search for wrecked ships or salvageable material. They are scrap merchants in the best sense of the words. Some say, were it not for the Krogul, most systems would be impassable because of all the debris of wars long since passed. Living a life marked by hard work and a constant struggle, the Krogul act serene and neutral to anyone contacting them.
If the player does not salvage the debris of destroyed ships himself, the Krogul will come to clear it and make a fortune out of it. The player may sometimes gain some resources from the Krogul if his relationship towards them is very good.
The one thing that the Xelshok strive for is knowledge. They are a collective of intelligent beings driven by the will to learn more about other races and the universe itself. The Xelshok are happy to share their knowledge with anyone contacting them as long as they feel they get something in return. Although their weaponry could be very advanced they refrain from taking any aggressive action.
The player may gain technologies if his relationship towards the Xelshok is very good.
